A 12 Feet-Long King Cobra Was Caught Harassing Labourers At A Coffee Estate

A 12-feet-long king cobra has been captured at a coffee estate in Madabur in NR Pura taluk of the district.

The king cobra, which had been living in the coffee estate for the past six months, can now go. The plantation workers were doing their work in such a way that they did not even look at the snake, hoping to go tomorrow. The plantation workers were frightened by repeated appearances.Fed up with this, the workers finally informed the reptile expert. Urologist Harendra, who rushed to the spot, managed to capture Kalinga in a jiffy while he was roaming in the coffee plantation. The workers working at the estate heaved a sigh of relief when they saw the captured king cobra.The snake was safely released into the forest of NR Pura by  reptile expert.
