NIA Issues Notice To Four Persons From Thirthahalli In Tunga River Bomb Blast Case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) team probing the bomb blast on the banks of Tunga river has issued notices to four persons from Thirthahalli to appear before it for questioning. Shariq, a resident of Thirthahalli, is the main accused in the cooker bomb blast in Mangaluru and had come to Delhi from abroad on the suspicion that he had links with Arafat Ali of Thirthahalli.Arafat was arrested in connection with the Cooker Blast case in Mangaluru, including the bomb blast experiment and the burning of the tricolour. In this case, four persons from Thirthahalli have been asked to appear at the NIA office in Bengaluru on October 19. The NIA team is preparing to interrogate more people. Earlier, the NIA had summoned more than 20 people from Shivamogga city for questioning in connection with the murder of Harsha.
