A road accident took place in which four people were killed. Police rushed to the spot on hearing the news. The deceased have been identified as Shivanand Chaudhary (25), Sunil Khanapura (26), Eranna Kolar (26) and Praveen Patil (30), all residents of Vajra Hanuman Nagar in the city.
Around 10 pm on Tuesday, the four friends went out for lunch. After having lunch, the youths were sitting on a divider on truck bay near the toll gate on NH-50. The lorry , ran over the youths. The locals immediately called an ambulance and offered first aid to the seriously injured youths. However, the youths sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The driver fled with the truck after the accident. The bikes belonging to the youths were completely crushed in the incident.DySP Girimalla Talakatti and other officials visited and inspected the spot. The police seized the bodies and sent them to the Government Hospital for post-mortem. Family and relatives are in a state of mourning as four friends who had dreamt of a beautiful future have passed away. A case has been registered at the City Police station and have launched a manhunt to nab the accused driver.
