Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge led the Central Election Committee (CEC) in a critical session to conclude the selection of candidates for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly election. Following the earlier release of the initial candidate list, the CEC convened once more, with prominent party figures, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and others, in attendance.

Expressing a firm stance against the current administration, Kharge conveyed a strong message, asserting: This time, Madhya Pradesh will not succumb to the BJP’s influence. The public’s fury will serve as a lesson to this ineffectual, despotic, and corrupt government. Kharge’s words emphasized the party’s commitment to bringing justice and prosperity to all segments of Madhya Pradesh, signaling a confident anticipation of an unprecedented public verdict in favor of the Congress.

Sources within the party disclosed that the CEC, after detailed discussions, will soon release the second list of candidates for the polls scheduled on November 17.

The Congress’s manifesto, led by Kamal Nath, has promised to tackle the longstanding issue of unemployment in the state. Proposals include the creation of job-oriented diploma courses in sectors such as farming, animal husbandry, and fisheries within the school curriculum. Additionally, the manifesto pledges to introduce transparent recruitment exams for government positions, along with a Rs 1,000 crore corpus fund to support new startups and encourage entrepreneurship among the state’s skilled youth.

As the Congress prepares to present its final list of candidates, the party’s proactive strategies and promises signify a determined effort to address crucial issues and steer the state towards comprehensive development and growth.
