Chandru Murder Case: Conflict between Kamal Pant & Govt

Must read

A fierce dispute has arisen between the city police commissioner Kamal Pant and the government over the murder of JJ Nagar’s youth Chandru. Kamal Pant has claimed that the murder had taken place for a different reason and was a target of the government. A group of BJP has put pressure on the government to immediately transfer him.
The BJP has accused him of murder for failing to speak Urdu. However, Kamal Pant argues that Chandru was murdered because of a collision between two two-wheelers.
Earlier, Home Minister Aaraga Jnanendra’s statement had been revoked and it was embarrassing for the government. Leaders of the BJP line up to paint a linguistic conflict. However, calling himself Kamal Pant is a case of alienation, which has led to the government’s opposition.
Now, even the members of the Chandru family have claimed that some of the perpetrators have murdered my son for not speaking Urdu. On the one hand, there is a difference between the statement of the Kamal Pant and the Home Minister on the other.
Opposition parties have pressed the government to file a complaint against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary CT Ravi, who made a false statement because the statement of the city police commissioner was official.
Increased pressure on transfer:
Kamal Pant defends the truth of the incident to the media. However, some BJP ministers and lawmakers are pressuring CM Bommai to immediately transfer him.
Kamalpant will neither apologize nor be punished if it is proved that Chandru was murdered for not speaking Urdu in the CID probe. Now the embarrassment is the government. Some BJP leaders are pressing for him to be transferred.
Earlier, there was talk that Kamal Pant would be transferred. Some senior officers have also heard of this position. However, Kamal Pant was in the BJP and the transfer was broken due to the grace of one of the influential leaders.
However, it is not surprising that Chandru is now facing a conflict between the government and Pant, sources in the ministry said. For the past four days, the leaders of the BJP have been in the process of transferring. Whether the CM is relegated to the party pressure or not is an ongoing question.
