In a spirited T20 match organized by the WoMEN Sports Foundation (WSF), Haryana Officers XI Blue, led by IAS Nishant Yadav, emerged victorious over Haryana Officers XI Green by a 32-run margin. The event took place during the launch of ‘Project Green Planet’ at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurugram. IAS Nishant Yadav, the captain of Haryana Officers XI Blue, lauded his team for their remarkable performance, celebrating their stunning win. Simultaneously, WSF’s founder and chairman, Piyush Sachdeva, seized the opportunity to introduce ‘Project Green Planet,’ underlining the significance of environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. Sachdeva’s visionary project sets out to plant over 10,000 saplings in identified villages and communities across India during its Phase-1. Furthermore, the project aspires to engage 5000 community members in cleanliness and awareness drives, fostering environmental consciousness. Acknowledging the event’s success and WSF’s dedication to environmental causes, IAS Nishant Yadav expressed his happiness and extended congratulations to Sachdeva for initiating ‘Project Green Planet.’ IAS Pradeep Malik, a member of Haryana Officers XI Blue, also praised the project, recognizing the importance of nurturing environmental awareness. Piyush Sachdeva shared, The match was organized to raise awareness about Climate Change, and there’s no better way to do this than through a cricket match between two key stakeholders in our society.
