In a tragic incident, a young man lost his life due to an unfortunate collision with a stationary BBMP garbage Truck that was parked in an unscientific manner. The incident unfolded around midnight on the road near Jayanagar metro station, resulting in the untimely demise of 26-year-old Yashwant. The mishap occurred as Yashwant was riding his motorcycle from Banashankari Marg towards South End Circle. Approaching the Jayanagar metro station, he encountered the improperly parked BBMP garbage Truck. In his attempt to navigate the situation, he lost control of his bike and collided with the rear of the stationary Truck. The accident scene was attended by the Jayanagar traffic police, who responded promptly to the distress call. However, the retrieval of Yashwant’s body proved to be a challenging task, requiring nearly 3-4 hours of dedicated efforts by the authorities. Yashwant, a resident of Yelachenahalli, had recently entered the bond of matrimony, making the tragedy even more heart-wrenching for his grieving family. The anguish of the parents was palpable as they watched the police painstakingly recover their beloved son’s lifeless body. This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of responsible parking practices and road safety. Authorities and the public must work together to ensure that such accidents are prevented in the future, sparing families from the pain and loss experienced by Yashwant’s loved ones.
