There is an e-attendance system in Gram Panchayat software Panchatantra 2.0 and all Panchayat Development Officers in the district have to record e-attendance, said Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer B Sadashiva Prabhu. This instruction was given during a progress review meeting of all Panchayat Development Officers. The CEO said that the ZP now has the opportunity to monitor e-attendance, and warned that action will be taken against those who do not register their attendance every day.
