A student riding pillion on a scooter died as the vehicle on which he was riding collided with a tipper truck at Adyar.
The deceased is identified as Sharafuddin (16), a resident of Adyar Padavu.Sharafuddin was studying in 10th grade. He was riding pillion with one of his friend. He was thrown onto the road due to the impact of the accident and suffered severe bleeding. The rider of the scooter suffered minor injuries. It is learnt that he is out of danger.
