Knowledge Should Not Be Limited To Four Walls Of The College, DR GB Chandrashekar

Knowledge should not be confined to the four walls of college, students should work for the good of society through knowledge, Taluk Health Officer GB Chandrashekar opined.

He was speaking at the valedictory function of National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross Unit and annual activities of all the forums of   Ashok Pai Memorial College on Wednesday.

Kateel Ashok Pai College is the foundation of many paths of achievement. It is not easy to get a prize in any competition. He said that it is good that many awards have flowed due to the hard work of the students under the guidance of the teachers.  Health sector is different from all other sectors. The Covid pandemic has taught several lessons. Technology is growing day by day. Nowadays education is a business. He said that education should complement the change of society, he said.

Assistant Director of Department of Kannada and Culture H Umesh said that students should be loyal to doctors and teachers. A teacher’s role is very important for the development of every student.   Students should involve themselves in extra-curricular activities along with academics, he said.

Dr. Sandhya Kaveri, Principal of the College said that the valedictory ceremony was like a festival. Manasa Trust has developed several avenues for the all-round development of the college, she said. On this occasion, the students who got the rank were felicitated.
