KARWAR
100 cadets of 29 Karnataka Battalion, Karwar, and 50 volunteers of NSS( National Service Scheme) took part in the beach cleaning activity and spread awareness amongst the public as well as fishermen as part of PUNEET SAGAR ABHIYAN and collected 21 kgs of waste from 8 am to 10 am on 1st April at TAGORE BEACH, KARWAR.
NCC is committed to spread the message of ‘Clean Beaches and Clean Shores’ and will undertake many such activities till 05 April, in various parts of Karnataka, under the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan Campaign. NCC will also involve NSS volunteers, NCC Alumni, prominent members of society, fisher folk and the local populace in the activities of Puneet Sagar Abhiyaan.
