With a view to giving a new impetus to the all-round development of the coastal region, a special cabinet meeting of the state government will be held in the port city of Mangaluru on September 18. In this context, I am personally coming to Mangaluru. I want to meet all of you, Materegla Solmelu, CM DK Shivakumar told the people of the coast through a special video message.
The government is committed to balanced regional development of the coastal region, and the CM has shared a video clip and a post on his official ‘X’ account in this regard.
The government’s intention is to bring about a change in your life”: Addressing the people of Tulu Nadu in a video message, the Chief Minister said, Hello, we are holding a special cabinet meeting in Mangaluru on September 18. I would like to meet all of you. The government is considering many of your programmes. The main objective of our government is to bring about a great change in your life. I will personally meet you on the 18th. May the Lord bless you, he said respectfully in Tulu.
The main objective of this cabinet meeting is to fulfill the decades-long aspirations of the people of the coastal region and to take important decisions on the spot according to local needs by closely observing the joys and sorrows of the people, he said.
The government is set to write a new chapter in the prosperity of the coast by infusing new vitality into the ports, tourism, infrastructure, fisheries and industrial sectors, the Chief Minister’s Office said in a statement.
