The contribution of engineers in the development and progress of the nation has been immense, said Basavalinga Pattaddeva, President of the Anubhav Mantapa Trust.
He was speaking at the Engineers’ Day celebration organised to mark the 166th birth anniversary of Sir M Visvesvaraya at the Anubhav Mantapa of Channabasaveshwara Gurukul in Karadyal, taluk, in collaboration with Kunduru Constructions Bangalore and Srinivasa Infra Aurangabad.
Retired Chief Engineer Jagannath Halange, businessman Basavaraj Dhannur, and Sangashetty Kalyani spoke. Retired Engineer Siddaya Kavadi Matha presided over the function.
Devindra Sirigire performed the puja of Basava Guru. Principal Basavaraja Molakire gave the introductory speech.
Youth leaders Channabasavanna Balate, Vishwanath Wodeyar, Madhu Badigera, Sachin Uchate, Rahul Harsura, Prashanth Reddy, Mallikarjuna Balate, Basavaraja Kenganal, Rajendra Narone, Sharanappa Methre, Dayanand Narone, and Akash Narone were present.
Retired engineer Viswanathappa Biradara, Basavanagowda, Sachin, Amrutappa Patil, Chandrakanth Borala and Shivakumar Talawade were felicitated.
Student Srushti Babu performed the vachana. Administrator Mohana Reddy, Madhukar Gaonkar, S Namdev were also present.
