A 59-year-old government school head teacher died of a heart attack while on duty at a school in Malamaddi, Dharwad city. The deceased was identified as I.I. Mullanavar. He suffered a heart attack while attending school on Friday. Other teachers present at the school immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, Mullanavar died despite medical treatment. His death has left fellow teachers and students shocked. As he passed away on Friday evening, his family members performed his last rites on Teachers’ Day. The incident has caused grief among the school staff and the local community.
