An incident has come to light in which a young man was brutally murdered in Puttagaon Badni village of Lakshmeshwar taluk of the district over an illicit relationship.
The deceased, Eranna Agasibagila (34), a resident of the village, has been identified as the deceased.
Incident details: It is said that the deceased Iranna had an illicit relationship with a woman named Renuka from the same village. As soon as Renuka’s family came to know about this, a fierce fight broke out in the house. The matter escalated and the situation turned into a disaster. It is said that during this time, Renuka’s husband, mother and brother together sketched out a plan to murder Iranna. As planned, Iranna was attacked and brutally murdered.
Police operation: Immediately after the incident, officers and staff of Lakshmeshwara Police Station rushed to the spot and conducted an investigation. The police, who registered a case, conducted a swift operation and arrested four accused in connection with the murder.
The arrested have been identified as Hanamvva Mudeppa Bovi (40), Dharmaraj Mudeppa Bovi (24), Renuka Anjaneya Kalasapura (22) and Anjaneya Somanna Kalasapura (32). A case has been registered at Lakshmeshwara police station and the police are taking further legal action.
