Police in Madiwala have arrested six people for allegedly murdering medical shop owner Suhail at a traffic signal on August 22. The victim was reportedly stopped by an armed group and hacked to death in public. Police said the killing may have been revenge for the January murder of Shabbir, a friend of main accused Adil. Investigators suspect Suhail helped fund Shabbir’s killing and that his brothers were involved. After the attack, the accused allegedly planned to flee to Mumbai. Officers tracked them down before they could escape. Police are now questioning all six to determine their individual roles further.
