The Gadag District Congress Campaign Committee will organize a fruit and vegetable distribution programme on August 20 to mark the birth anniversaries of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and former Karnataka Chief Minister Devaraja Urs. The programme will begin at 10:30 am at K.H. Patil Institute of Medical Sciences in Gadag city. District Congress office-bearers, block presidents, local body representatives and leaders from various party wings have been invited to participate. These include Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, SC/ST, minority, student, Seva Dal, Kisan, labour, legal, medical, professional and other sections. District Congress Campaign Committee president Ashok K. Mandali urged party workers to attend the programme.
