5.57 Lakh Electors Flagged Under ASDDO Category
Mysuru
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Mysuru district has reached a crucial stage, with enumeration forms for all 27,99,693 electors in the district having been printed and distributed, achieving 100 per cent completion.
According to the Daily Press Release issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru, on Monday evening, the house-to-house enumeration process was conducted from June 30 to August 17, 2026. The digitisation of enumeration forms was also carried out during the same period.
Of the total 27,99,693 Enumeration Forms (EFs) distributed, 22,42,509 forms have been digitised, accounting for 80.10 per cent of the total. The remaining forms are in various stages of processing.
5.57 Lakh Electors Under ASDDO Category
The digitisation data has identified 5,57,184 electors under the ASDDO category, constituting 19.90 per cent of the total electorate. Of these, 1,34,325 electors (4.80%) have been categorised as untraceable or absent. As many as 2,47,099 electors (8.83%) have been identified as permanently shifted. The data also shows that 1,14,157 electors (4.08%) are deceased, while 43,903 electors (1.57%) have already been enrolled elsewhere. Another 17,700 electors (0.63%) fall under the ‘Others’ category.
The figures assume significance as the SIR exercise seeks to identify and verify names of deceased, shifted, duplicate and untraceable electors, thereby helping ensure greater accuracy in the electoral rolls.
Nanjangud, Narasimharaja among key figures
The district-wise report covers all 11 Assembly constituencies—Periyapatna, Krishnarajanagar, Hunsur, Heggadadevankote, Nanjangud, Chamundeshwari, Krishnaraja, Chamaraja, Narasimharaja, Varuna and T. Narasipur.

In Chamundeshwari constituency, enumeration forms were distributed to 3,57,327 electors, of which 2,91,481 forms have been digitised.
Verification Next Major Step
With 100 per cent distribution of enumeration forms completed, verification and further processing of the digitised data and ASDDO-category electors will be the next crucial phase.
The exercise is aimed at ensuring that no genuine voter is left out of the electoral roll while ineligible, duplicate, deceased or shifted entries are identified and removed after due verification.
Overall, the SIR exercise in Mysuru has entered a significant phase, with the electoral authorities processing data relating to nearly 28 lakh electors to prepare a more accurate and updated electoral roll.
