Senior political leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy has strongly criticized the state government for ignoring the serious problems faced by young people. Speaking during an Independence Day event, he pointed out that while national leaders praise the younger generation as the true future of the country, local authorities are failing to address their real-life struggles.
Narayanaswamy gathered with party members at the Jagannath Bhawan office located in Malleshwaram. Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, he addressed the crowd and raised deep concerns about recent examination irregularities. He stated that the silence from the government regarding these major tests is unacceptable. According to him, remaining quiet on such important issues means avoiding accountability, and the administration must provide clear answers to the public immediately.
During his speech, the opposition leader also shifted focus to national progress under the current central leadership. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transforming India’s global standing. He noted that the country has achieved massive development that outpaces the progress seen in the previous six decades. Reminding the audience of past financial hardships, he recalled a time when the nation had to mortgage its gold reserves just to function. Today, thanks to strong governance, India proudly stands as the fourth-largest economic power in the entire world.
Furthermore, Narayanaswamy did not hold back his criticism of the ruling Congress party. He accused them of trying to mislead national leadership for political gain while ignoring local governance duties. He also addressed ongoing political attacks against the RSS, describing criticism from opponents as a cheap political trick that actually brings more attention to the organization. He emphasized that the RSS plays an essential role in society, making it impossible to picture a single day without its presence.
Concluding his remarks, Narayanaswamy reminded everyone of the heavy price paid for freedom. He stressed that India’s hard-earned independence was built on the blood, sweat, and ultimate sacrifices of countless brave freedom fighters. Narayanaswamy noted that while Prime Minister Modi considers the younger generation the true future of the country, local authorities have failed to respond to the struggles of young job aspirants. He argued that avoiding accountability regarding examination scams is entirely unacceptable and demands immediate action. Shifting focus to national achievements, the BJP leader contrasted past economic struggles when gold had to be mortgaged with current successes that rank India among the world’s leading economies.
