5-day FDP on Universal Human Values held

The five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV-II) was inaugurated with the presence of distinguished dignitaries, resource persons, coordinators, faculty members and participants from various institutions across the Mysore. This FDP is Self-funded Programme and approved by NCCIP–AICTE.
The dignitaries present on the inauguration function included Umesh Namdev Jadhav, Member, NCCIP, AICTE as Resource Person; G. Jayaprakash, Regional Coordinator, NCCIP AICTE Southwest Region and Bhagyalakshmi V, Assistant Professor, Dept. of ECE, MIT Thandavapura, Mysore as Co-Facilitators; and Sri R Srinivasan, Retired Assistant Commissioner Central Taxes as Observer.
Dr.Bhagyashree S R, Convener, Dean Research, ATMECE delivered the welcome address. She extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and participants and expressed her gratitude for their presence and support in making the FDP possible.
R Srinivasan, UHV Observer, delivered the introductory address on Universal Human Values. He highlighted the importance of understanding human values and explained their relevance to the objectives of the UHV FDP. He emphasized the need for individuals to develop clarity about themselves, their relationships, and their responsibilities towards society and nature.
Dr. Basavaraj L, Principal, ATMECE, Mysore, delivered the Presidential address. In his address, he emphasized that Universal Human Values plays an important role in helping individuals understand themselves, develop harmonious relationships, and recognize their interconnectedness with nature. He encouraged all the faculty members to actively participate in the FDP and make effective use of the learning and insights gained throughout the programme.
The programme commenced with the rendition of the Nadageethe, followed by an invocation presented by Ms.Manasa V and Ma. Sahana N. The inaugural session concluded with the Vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Jyothi D N, Associate Professor and Head, Dept. of Civil Engineering, The inaugural programme was formally compered by Ms.Tanya R., Assistant Professor Department of MCA.
