Union Minister Piyush Goyal stated that the talent and products coming from Bihar are building a strong new reputation in worldwide markets. He shared this positive message on the social media platform. He highlighted how recent trade deals made by the central government are helping local makers grow.
The minister explained that new free trade agreements are opening major doors for local businesses. Farmers and makers of agro-processed items can now reach buyers far beyond national borders. Similar global growth is happening for industries handling textiles, leather, footwear, engineering items, chemicals, and medical drugs.
This global push comes as the nation recently reached its highest export numbers ever, hitting a massive record of over eight hundred billion dollars. Government leaders are actively working to spread trade across many new regions. They use special trade agreements and talks with big global economies to build stronger pathways for local companies and hard-working entrepreneurs.
Over the past five years, officials have successfully signed nine major trade pacts with different international partners. These important deals include partnerships with the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Mauritius, Oman, The United Kingdom, New Zealand, and European nations. Such agreements aim to boost two-way trade by lowering barriers and creating mutually helpful business relationships.
These friendly trade pacts bring wonderful benefits to ordinary farmers and factory workers. They give special support to job-heavy sectors like clothing, fabric production, and leather goods, which creates plenty of fresh employment.
