Former MP Dr Umesh Jadhav, along with a BJP delegation, visited the Kadechur industrial area and inspected the site where three workers were killed in an industrial accident. The delegation also reviewed allegations of environmental pollution in the nearby Badiyal industrial area.
Speaking after the inspection, Jadhav demanded a comprehensive investigation into the accident and urged the government to treat the incident as a serious matter. He alleged that negligence by the government and concerned authorities may have contributed to the tragedy.
According to Jadhav, around 35 workers were employed at the company where the accident occurred. Three workers, including two from Madhya Pradesh and one from Telangana, were killed. One person reportedly suffered serious injuries, while three others are undergoing treatment.

The former MP also raised concerns over alleged industrial pollution affecting residents of Yadgir, Gurmatkal, Saidapur, Badiyal and Kadechur. He claimed that contaminated water and foul smells were making life difficult for people living in the affected areas.
He said the BJP delegation had visited the industrial area not with a political motive but to understand the difficulties faced by local residents and raise their concerns with the authorities. Jadhav said the issue had already been discussed with the Deputy Commissioner and other officials.
He further alleged that water flowing through Badiyal had been severely contaminated due to industrial pollution and urged the government to take immediate steps to protect the health and livelihoods of residents.
Jadhav said the matter would also be brought to the attention of Gokul, Member Secretary of the Environment Department, seeking appropriate action.
