The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has signed five strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with industry and ecosystem partners to strengthen support for startups through digital payments, cloud infrastructure, entrepreneurship, investment and global market access.
DPIIT signed an MoU with Cash free Payments India to help recognized startups access digital payment infrastructure, fintech solutions and capacity-building initiatives. Eligible startups will receive access to payment and payout services, identity verification and risk management solutions, along with onboarding support and other commercial benefits.
Another agreement with Darwin Dynamics aims to expand entrepreneurship opportunities in tier-2, tier-3 and rural areas. The partnership will promote mentorship, market access and capacity building, with a focus on areas including clean energy, green hydrogen, artificial intelligence, climate technology and advanced manufacturing.
DPIIT’s partnership with Vultr India will focus on strengthening technology infrastructure available to startups. It will provide greater access to cloud computing resources, technical support and digital infrastructure, helping startups develop, scale and innovate more efficiently.
The department has also partnered with Cars24 to support innovation in the mobility and automotive technology ecosystem. The collaboration will focus on AI-driven innovation, founder development, skilling, investment opportunities and road safety initiatives.
The fifth MoU, with the Council for Startup India, will help DPIIT-recognised startups gain access to investment, strategic partnerships, mentorship, leadership development and international markets. The council will support investment readiness, corporate engagement, CFO matchmaking and global expansion.
The five partnerships are aimed at strengthening India’s startup ecosystem by connecting entrepreneurs with technology, financial resources, industry networks and international opportunities.
