Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Saturday visited his Kota-Bundi constituency and felicitated star boxer Arundhati Chaudhary and her family at their residence following her gold-medal-winning performance at the recently concluded Commonwealth Games.
Birla congratulated Arundhati for her outstanding achievement and praised her dedication, hard work and determination, saying her success had brought pride not only to her family but also to the entire Kota-Bundi region.
The Lok Sabha Speaker said Arundhati’s achievement was a source of inspiration for young people, particularly daughters aspiring to establish themselves in sports and other fields. He stressed the importance of identifying and nurturing young talent and ensuring athletes receive the necessary support and opportunities to compete at the highest level.
Birla said accomplishments such as Arundhati’s demonstrate the immense potential of India’s youth and expressed confidence that the boxer would achieve greater milestones in her sporting career.
He encouraged Arundhati to continue representing the country with dedication and bring further glory to India and the Kota-Bundi region. He also conveyed his best wishes to her family for her future endeavours.
