District leaders gathered to analyze vital farming data and stress the urgent need for meticulous field testing during a major administrative review session held at the local headquarters.
Additional Deputy Commissioner B.T. Kumaraswamy led the first quarterly coordination committee meeting focusing on agricultural statistics for the 2026-27 period. During the session, he highlighted the critical role of accurate crop harvesting experiments. He directed grassroots workers to devote close attention to data collection and urged taluk-level assistant agriculture directors to closely monitor general crop surveys. Similarly, senior horticulture staff members received strict instructions to supervise fruit and vegetable harvesting tests to ensure complete precision.
In addition to the agricultural review, officials convened a separate session for the district-level civil registration system coordination committee to streamline birth and death record tracking across local departments. Maintaining reliable public data is seen as a key step toward improving local governance and administrative efficiency.
Several prominent administrative heads attended the collaborative meeting to coordinate cross-departmental duties. Participants included Deputy Secretary M. Babu, District Statistical Officer Ravikumar, Joint Director of Horticulture Savita, Lead Bank District Manager M.P. Praveen, and Assistant Statistical Officer Ashwathama, alongside other sectoral representatives from various government branches.
Leaders concluded that transparent coordination and reliable statistical records are absolutely essential for effective rural planning, proper policy execution, and delivering targeted welfare benefits to regional farming communities down the line. Officials promised to review progress regularly to ensure no reporting errors occur moving forward.
