Hariprasad demands RSS transparency over CSR funds

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President and MLC B.K. Hariprasad has demanded full accountability from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) regarding its utilization of public funds.

His demand follows an investigative report, which revealed that ONGC allocated over ₹668 crore in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to 20 RSS-linked organizations over the past decade.

Core Issue beingCongress leaders question how an unregistered organization claiming financial independence receives hundreds of crores in public and corporate funds.

Hariprasad emphasized that this issue goes beyond legal registration, calling it a fundamental matter of public accountability. He asserted that citizens have a right to know how taxpayer money and corporate funds are being spent.
