City police arrested eleven individuals for kidnapping and robbing a man through a fake dating app scheme. The suspects enticed the victim online, offering meetings with women. When he arrived at HRBR Layout in KG Halli, the gang forced him into an auto-rickshaw where women were already seated. They drove him around various parts of the city, forcibly snatching his money, mobile phone, and gold chain before fleeing. Following a tip-off, Crime Branch officers investigated the incident, filed a case, and caught the primary suspects, including Chethan Manu, Shabu, and Manjunath. All eleven culprits are now in custody.
