National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha on Sunday met former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ahead of the upcoming Bankipur Assembly by-election, seeking his blessings and guidance as the alliance intensifies preparations for the crucial electoral contest.
The meeting underscored the NDA’s efforts to present a united front as campaigning gains momentum.
Sinha was accompanied by Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Sanjay Sarawagi during the courtesy visit. Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh was also present at the meeting, where senior NDA leaders discussed the political strategy and preparations for the Bankipur Assembly by-election.
During the interaction, Rajiv Ranjan Singh extended his best wishes to the NDA candidate and expressed confidence that the alliance would contest the election with complete unity and determination. He said the NDA was fully prepared for the electoral battle and believed that the coalition would emerge victorious in the Bankipur constituency.
Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also conveyed his best wishes to Neeraj Kumar Sinha and advised him to remain closely connected with the people. Stressing the importance of public service, Nitish urged the candidate to stay active among citizens and work consistently to address their concerns.
He expressed hope that the NDA nominee would earn the trust and confidence of the electorate through dedicated service and contribute to accelerating the development of the Bankipur Assembly constituency. Nitish Kumar emphasized that maintaining close contact with the public and focusing on development would be essential in fulfilling the aspirations of local residents.
