Chikkamagaluru
A large tiger appeared on a road connecting Holagadde and Kavikal Mutt in Chikkamagaluru district, causing concern among villagers and tourists. Visitors who had arrived to watch the sunset captured the rare sight on their mobile phones while maintaining a safe distance. The tiger stood on the road for a few moments, looked towards the vehicles, and later moved back into the forest. The area, located near the Muthodi forest range, has witnessed increased movement of wild animals in recent months. Forest officials advised people to avoid approaching wildlife and immediately report sightings.
