Two workers from Bihar suffered serious injuries after a concrete storage structure collapsed at an UltraTech facility near Dharwad industrial area on Friday. The injured workers, Raju Mathur and Ramesh, were rescued and admitted to Dharwad District Hospital. The accident occurred during concrete mixing work, when the storage unit suddenly collapsed, trapping nearby workers. Around 14 employees were present during the evening shift, and some sustained minor injuries. Emergency teams conducted rescue operations, while Garag Police registered an inquiry. Officials are examining safety measures and the cause of the collapse to prevent similar industrial accidents in future.
