Vijayanagar police have solved multiple theft cases across the district, arresting seven accused and recovering stolen property worth ₹27.75 lakh. The recovered items include gold ornaments worth ₹13.60 lakh and 15 motorcycles valued at ₹11.15 lakh. In Hosapete, police arrested one accused and a juvenile in connection with an April theft, seizing six motorcycles and gold ornaments. In Harapanahalli, two accused were held for a marriage hall theft, with gold worth ₹3.5 lakh recovered. Another accused was arrested in Chittawadagi for stealing gold earrings, while a bike theft suspect was caught in Gangavathi with nine stolen motorcycles. Superintendent of Police S. Jahnavi commended the investigating teams for successfully cracking the cases.
