BEIJING
The Chinese and Russian navies are joining forces for major military exercises near the coastal city of Qingdao. Running from July 6 to 13, the annual drills will feature a Russian cruiser, corvette, submarine, and rescue vessel. This year’s operations aim to tackle shared security challenges and protect regional peace. Once the main war games conclude, warships from both nations will head out into the Pacific Ocean to conduct joint maritime patrols. Officials emphasize that the routine maneuvers are designed to strengthen cooperation and ensure stability across vital international waters.
