Booth Level Officer Sunil (45), a native of Bhalki taluk, died after suffering a heart attack while on Special Intensive Revision duty in Bidar taluk. He was working at Booth No. 33 in Amalapur village when he complained of severe chest pain and collapsed on the spot. Local residents rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors performed an emergency stent procedure. Despite efforts, he succumbed during treatment. Sunil had been engaged in voter revision work for several days as part of the Election Commission’s electoral roll exercise. The incident was reported to Gandhi Gunj Police Station.
