Residents of Badriya Nagar in Surathkal foiled an attempted burglary during the early hours of Friday after four men allegedly entered the residence of Hamza at around 2.30 am. Alert family members noticed suspicious movement inside the house, confronted the intruders, and successfully apprehended one suspect while the remaining three fled the scene. The arrested man, identified as Deep Kumar, a native of Bihar, was handed over to the Surathkal police. Police have taken him into custody and launched an investigation to trace the absconding suspects and determine the motive behind the attempted burglary.
