CHITRADURGA
Rangayana Shivamogga, along with Basavakendra Sri Jagadguru Murugarajendra Brihanmath and other groups, will present the play “Race of Freedom” on June 29 at Anubhav Mantapa. The drama is based on Boluvaru Mohammed Kunhi’s novel and will begin at 6 pm.
The event remembers senior journalist G.S. Ujjanappa, who recently passed away. Chitradurga MLA K.C. Veerendra Pappi will inaugurate the program. Several guests, including writers, scholars, and public representatives, will attend the ceremony. The organizers said the event aims to honor art, literature, and the contributions of Ujjanappa with great respect today.
