MLA Prabhu Chavan announced that a Banjara Community Awareness Convention will be held on June 29 at 11:30 a.m. at Zira Function Hall in Bidar. The event will protest the state government’s alleged unscientific distribution of internal reservation, which he said has harmed the Banjara community. A protest march will begin from the Mata Jagadamba and Sant Sevalal Maharaj Temple. Several BJP leaders and public representatives are expected to attend. Chavan urged community members to participate in large numbers.
