Islamabad

A report by Pakistan’s Auditor General has uncovered financial irregularities worth Rs3.41 billion in institutions under the Ministry of National Health Services. The audit found fraud, embezzlement, procurement violations and poor financial management, while only Rs127.27 million was recovered. It also revealed that the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council refused to provide records for inspection.
