VIJAYAPURA

The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) local OBC Morcha wing hosted a grand celebration at the district party office to honor three newly elected lawmakers. The lively event included a massive felicitation ceremony and the joyful distribution of sweets among triumphant party workers.

The gathering celebrated the historic, unopposed election of Professor M. Nagaraja to the Rajya Sabha, alongside the successful entry of Raghu Kautilya and Lingaraja Patil into the state’s Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad).

Addressing the excited crowd, OBC Morcha district president Siddu Bulla stated that Professor Nagaraja’s historic election to the nation’s upper house serves as the ultimate honor for the region’s backward classes. He emphasized that the milestone provides immense motivation for grassroots activists. Bulla also highlighted that having Raghu Kautilya, the state’s backward morcha chief, enter the legislature will ensure that the voice of the OBC community echoes much louder inside the Vidhana Soudha.

The promotion of veteran leader Lingaraja Patil was hailed as direct proof that the party values loyalty and never abandons its dedicated, long-term workers. Speakers credited the electoral sweep to the sheer organizing power and continuous hard work of the local cadre.

A large gathering of senior party figures attended the high-profile celebration, including state vice president Vivekananda Dabbi and several district general secretaries. The triumphant event concluded with local leaders vowing to maintain this political momentum to champion community welfare across the state.
