KABUL
A devastating mini-bus accident in eastern Afghanistan’s Wardak province has left four travelers dead, including a mother, her young child, and two women. Local police spokesman Mohammad Yusuf Israr confirmed that the vehicle flipped over in the Saydabad district. Four other passengers sustained severe injuries, with several reportedly in critical condition. Deadly traffic accidents are rising across the country due to poor roads and reckless driving. This tragedy follows another horrific crash just weeks ago in Laghman province, which killed eighteen newly returned Afghan migrants, including ten children.
