Bidar
An eight-year-old boy, Ali from Momin Mohalla in Hulasur town of Bidar district, died after coming into contact with a live electric wire during heavy rain and strong winds. He suffered a severe electric shock and died on the spot, according to initial reports. Family members and locals rushed him to the Community Health Centre, where doctors declared him brought dead. Officials including Tahsildar Shivanand Metre, GESCOM engineers, and revenue officers visited the hospital and the spot, expressing condolences and reviewing the situation. Police have registered a case and investigation is underway, while compensation procedures are being initiated.
