Bantwal
Three individuals were detained by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Bantwal railway station after allegedly assaulting a passenger and causing a disturbance aboard the Mangaluru–Subrahmanya train. According to reports, the trio had boarded the last coach at Kodimbala railway station and began creating a commotion inside the compartment. A complaint was subsequently filed with railway police. When the train reached Bantwal station, RPF personnel intervened and took the accused into custody. The incident briefly halted the train’s movement at the station for a few minutes before normal operations resumed.
