Akasa Air flight makes emergency landing in Lucknow

New Delhi

An Akasa Air flight from Bengaluru to Bhubaneswar made an emergency landing at Lucknow International Airport after being diverted due to adverse weather conditions at its destination. Flight QP 1503, operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 8, was carrying 194 passengers and crew members. Reports said the aircraft issued a “PAN PAN” alert after fuel levels became low during diversion, prompting Air Traffic Control to activate emergency procedures. Crash fire tenders were deployed as a precaution. The aircraft landed safely, and no assistance was required. Akasa Air later confirmed the flight safely reached Bhubaneswar shortly after midnight.
