Kalaburagi
The Karnataka government has transferred Kalaburagi Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Bhanwar Singh Meena and appointed Rahul Sankanur as the new CEO. Meena, a 2017-batch IAS officer who served in the post for about two and a half years, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Chikkamagaluru district. Rahul Sankanur, a 2019-batch IAS officer who was earlier serving as Director in the IT-BT Department, has taken charge as the new Kalaburagi ZP CEO with immediate effect. The official order stated that the reshuffle is part of routine administrative transfers aimed at improving governance efficiency across departments in Karnataka.
