Official Kandakura urges Honnapur workers to start shifts at dawn, ensuring project progress while avoiding dangerous summer heatwaves.

Local official Chandrashekar B. Kandakura visited Honnapur village this week to check on important community building projects. During his visit to the Savadi Gram Panchayat area, he met with workers who are busy constructing new homes under the national NREGA program.
The Executive Officer had a very practical message for the laborers facing a rising summer heatwave. He kindly advised everyone to start their shifts as early as possible in the morning. By starting at dawn, teams can finish their heavy tasks by noon. This simple change helps every worker stay healthy and safe from the dangerous midday sun.
Beyond safety, Kandakura focused on the future of the village. He promised that as long as the work remains high-quality, the government will continue providing steady jobs for everyone. He explained that building dams and improving soil does more than just provide a paycheck, it protects local water and helps farmers grow better crops for years to come.
To keep things fair and organized, staff are now using a mobile app to record attendance twice a day. The officer reminded workers that showing up regularly and following the daily measurements is the best way to keep the project moving forward. He emphasized that these rural development goals are only possible when the community works together with pride.
Several local leaders and village staff joined the visit to support the workers. The message was clear – work hard, work early, and let’s build a stronger, cooler, and more successful Honnapur together.
