Speciality chemicals giant LANXESS has joined forces with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to expand the reach of high-end lubricants across India and the SAARC region. The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to market premium aviation and industrial lubricants.
This collaboration is designed to combine LANXESS’s advanced German technology with HPCL’s massive distribution network. The partnership will focus on making high-performance lubricant solutions more accessible to critical sectors like aerospace and heavy manufacturing, which are currently seeing a major boom in the Indian market.
According to LANXESS, the deal explores a wide range of business opportunities, from immediate sales to long-term market development. By teaming up with one of India’s largest oil marketing companies, LANXESS aims to set new standards for quality and availability in the region. This move is expected to significantly boost the supply chain for specialized lubricants, ensuring that essential industries have the reliable, high-tech fluids they need to keep their machinery running smoothly.
