The Anti-Jail Bail and Proclaimed Offenders Cell of Dwarka District Police has arrested a Proclaimed Offender who had been evading trial in a robbery case, officials said on Tuesday. The accused, identified as Mohit alias Monty, was declared a Proclaimed Offender on April 22, in connection with FIR No. 98/2018 registered under Sections 392, 411 and 34 of the IPC at Janakpuri Nagar Police Station by the Dwarka Court. According to police, a special drive against Proclaimed Offenders is being conducted under the directions of Dwarka District DCP Kushal Pal Singh. In this regard, a dedicated team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Harish Kumar and supervised by ACP Operations Subhash Malik.
