Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix put on a masterclass as Al-Nassr defeated Al-Shabab 4-2, moving within touching distance of the Saudi Pro League title. Joao Felix was the standout performer, netting a brilliant hat-trick, while Ronaldo also scored to reach a historic milestone of 100 goals in Saudi league football.

The match began with a blitz from Al-Nassr, as Felix scored twice in the first ten minutes. Al-Shabab fought back with a goal from Yannick Carrasco, but Ronaldo restored the two-goal cushion in the 75th minute with a clinical finish. Although Al-Shabab scored again late through Ali Albulayhi, Felix sealed the win with a 90th-minute penalty to complete his treble.

With this victory, Al-Nassr sits comfortably at the top of the standings with 82 points, five ahead of rivals Al-Hilal. They are now just one win away from clinching the championship. The decisive moment could come on May 12, when they face Al-Hilal in a high-stakes Riyadh derby at Al-Awwal Park. “This was a huge step, but the job isn’t finished,” said Al-Nassr coach Jorge Jesus. He emphasized that the team must remain focused for the upcoming derby, where “small details” will decide the title. Beyond the league, Al-Nassr is also eyeing international glory, as they prepare to face Gamba Osaka in the Asian Champions League Two final on May 16. For Ronaldo and his teammates, a historic double is now firmly within their grasp
