Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced a temporary disruption in Purple Line Metro services on May 10 due to maintenance work. Metro operations will remain suspended for two hours from 7 am to 9 am on a section of the corridor. According to BMRCL, maintenance work will be carried out between Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, City Railway Station and Central College stations. As a result, metro services between Balagangadhara Nath Swamiji Station and Cubbon Park will remain suspended during the period. However, normal metro operations will continue on Chalaghatta-Vijayanagar, MG Road-Whitefield, Madavara-Silk Institute and RV Road-Bommasandra routes. Services at affected stations will resume normally after 9 am. BMRCL has advised passengers to plan their journeys accordingly.
