A woman narrowly escaped a knife attack after her ex-husband allegedly tried to assault her in the middle of a road under the Madanayakanahalli Police limits. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing bystanders rushing to rescue the victim. The accused has been identified as Sanjay. According to preliminary investigations, he allegedly confronted his former wife following a dispute and attempted to attack her with a knife. As the woman screamed for help, alert youngsters nearby intervened immediately, overpowered the accused and rescued her. The group allegedly thrashed Sanjay before restraining him and informing the police. Police have registered a case and launched further investigation into the incident.
