CHALLAKERE
Religious rituals were held at Panchamukeshwar Temple in Challakere for the speedy recovery of District In-charge Minister D. Sudhakar. Devotees performed Mrityunjaya Homa, Rudrabhishek, Navagraha Shanti, Anjaneya Sahasranama and Ganapati puja. The program was led by Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sanstha leaders and Congress workers under Smt Usha Chandrakumar. She said the minister is a leader who works for Dalits, backward classes and minorities in the district. Priests Thyagaraja Joshi and Subrahmanya Swamiji conducted the rituals. Many Congress workers including Shivshankar, Nagaratna, Geetha and Mallamma attended the ceremony. Devotees prayed for his early recovery and continued public service.
